Many thanks to all participants, exhibitors and special guests who attended the 10th Whisky Magazine Live! in Japan on Sunday February 21st.

In all, nearly 5,500 people came through the doors on a day packed with whiskies, seminars and entertainment. Please keep this page bookmarked as photo galleries and a fuller report will follow shortly.

Tickets for the 10th Whisky Magazine Live! in Tokyo go on sale on Tuesday January 5th at 12.00pm.

If you have any problems using the web-based Japanese language order form, please send an e-mail to enquiries@whiskylivejapan.com , stating your name, contact number and which tickets you require. Please do not remit any money until you have been contacted by a member of the Whisky Live! staff and ticket availability has been confirmed.

Tickets:

Every participant at Whisky Live! must have an Entry Ticket. This can be purchased in one of two ways:

Individual Entry Ticket:

Cost is ¥6,000 in advance (¥7,000 on the day). This gives admission to the event and the main Exhibition Hall where all of the tasting booths are located and the main stage entertainment takes place. The price this year also includes a \1,000 lunch voucher, redeemable at the New Tokyo restaurant, a short walk from the Live! event hall. A commemorative Live! Tasting Glass plus gift carton and special Live! edition of Whisky Magazine Japan (in Japanese) is also included in the entry package.

Day Ticket:

A Day Ticket costs ¥13,000 in advance (not available on the day) and includes general admission plus attendance at 3 Masterclasses of your choice (subject to availability). A Live! Lunch Voucher is also included

Individual Masterclass Tickets:

Tickets for all 18 of the Masterclasses cost ¥3,000 each. Masterclasses each last an hour and are arranged by the individual producers and importers. Most of the classes will serve between 5 & 6 whiskies. For the latest details please click here. Tickets to each of these classes are limited.

Once your remittance has been confirmed, your tickets will be dispatched by post, together with a "Letter of Agreement". This letter must be completed and handed in when you enter the Live! event, unless you have already registered for and received your Whisky Magazine Live! card. No admission to the event will be allowed without completion of this letter or possession of a Live! card.

Premium Tasting Vouchers:

We plan to repeat again the Premium Tasting Voucher scheme.
Anybody purchasing a Premium Tasting Set at the Whisky Live! shop in the foyer will also receive Tasting Vouchers that can be used to sample a range of special premium samples in the main exhibition room.
A Premium Tasting Set costs ¥3,000 and consists of a Whisky Magazine Tasting Notebook* plus 15 complimentary Tasting Vouchers.
Alternatively, 5 vouchers are included free if you purchase a back copy of Whisky Magazine for ¥1,000.
Participation in the Premium Tasting Voucher scheme is at the discretion of the individual exhibitors and not all may choose to take part.
